Third country training
Starting from 1996 KNO has been actively involved in conducting study tours to the Central Europe, specifically over 70 tours have been organized in the Czech Republic and Slovakia over the past 20 years. These trainings were primarily funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and focused on a large scale of topics including pension and health reform, agriculture, environment, rule of law and judicial reform, NGO’s capacity building and many others. KNO has professional staff able to organize and support all aspects of these training programs.
Training participants have included professionals from all over Central Europe and the former Soviet Union to include Ukraine, Albania, Yugoslavia, Macedonia, Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia and Croatia. KNO’s service includes identifying the prominent local experts in the program’s subject area and engaging them in the training program, design of the program agenda and handling all logistic arrangements. Participants’ feedback regarding these study tours have been extremely enthusiastic, they emphasized the value and relevance of the European experience for their countries and built strong connections with peers from the countries they visited.
